Boiler Books is the "ultimate IEEE financial recordkeeping system"! It is an internally developed piece of software to process purchases, income, donations, and dues across all of Purdue IEEE. Boiler Books is actively developed and maintained by Purdue IEEE members, with the Infrastructure Lead holding the main responsibility for the application.
For most members, all they will need to use is the "Purchasing" tab from the home page. Members with more permissions have other actions available to them depending on their role in Purdue IEEE. This series of articles will walk you through how to use Boiler Books and what to do if something goes wrong.
Boiler Books is deployed at money.purdueieee.org. It uses the Purdue IEEE SSO system to log in, same as all Purdue IEEE services.
There are many help articles below for how to use the Boiler Books system. Refer to them for help, and contact the Treasurer with any questions.
If you ever encounter red text saying "Internal Server Error", please email or Slack message the Infrastructure Lead with the time of the error, your account username, and what you were trying to do.
If you need help performing an action and can't find an answer in the above articles, please email or Slack message the Treasurer for guidance.
